Three-target council fight with no phases: the tortollans First Mate Nama, Scrollsage Iku and Trader Gebbo, possessed by the troll Mor'zahi.

The fight timer is Mor'zahi. He is not attackable, stands at the center of the room and channels Final Ascension, a cast that wipes the raid if it completes. The only way to reset it goes through the crates Gebbo throws as he circles the arena: one of them contains a fish, and that fish must be fed to one of the three tortollans. The target that eats it breaks Mor'zahi's concentration, resetting his cast and energy, and in reaction he empowers that tortollan with a set of additional abilities, its so-called ultimate. The same target cannot be fed twice in a row, so the fight is a rotation: feed, handle the matching ultimate, move to the next target. The recommended order is Gebbo, Nama, Iku.

The crates aren't just about finding the fish: all of them must be opened. Left on the ground they explode on their own after roughly 25 seconds with wipe-level damage, and if Gebbo walks over one he detonates it. Opening them costs a bleed, which on Mythic hits the entire raid, so openings have to be spread across several players.

The second constraint is positional: if all three tortollans are within 30 yards of each other they take 99% less damage. Nama and Iku are tankable, Gebbo isn't, but he doesn't wander randomly: he always circles counter-clockwise at a constant pace. Knowing his loop tells you in advance where to tank the other two so all three never end up within 30 yards, where the next crates will land and which way to orient the movement mechanics, so positioning stays essentially fixed for the whole pull.

TL;DR

What to do

Everyone

  • Always: open crates by walking over them. None can be left on the ground.
  • Always: watch the Final Ascension cast or Mor'zahi's energy.
  • Ultimate order: Gebbo → Nama → Iku. Gebbo always circles counter-clockwise, so positioning can be worked out in advance.
  • Nama's ultimate: soak all three Mighty Thud impacts, oriented in front of Gebbo.
  • Gebbo's ultimate: use the mushrooms to jump over the Blast Wave.
  • Iku's ultimate: pair fire and frost debuffs to cancel them and clear the patches.

Tank

  • Always: keep Nama and Iku apart, and make sure neither ends up within 30 yards of Gebbo, who roams freely.
  • Tank swap on Steady Strikes (Nama) and Shredding Shards (Iku).

Healer

  • Always: constant raid damage from Malevolent Presence.
  • Every feed: Fishy Feedback hits the whole raid. It's predictable and must be planned for.
  • Nama's ultimate: three consecutive soaks in quick succession.

DPS

  • Always: interrupt rotation on Iku's Icebound Flames.
  • Always: bring the three tortollans to similar percentages, since every death empowers the survivors.
  • Players with mobility take the crates on Gebbo's path.

Timeline

PointWhat happens
Continuous cycleGebbo throws crates, Nama fires Shell Spin, Iku casts Blink Nova and Icebound Flames, Mor'zahi builds Final Ascension
Before the cast finishesThe Disgusting Fish is delivered to a tortollan: cast and energy reset
Right after the feedMor'zahi's Command empowers that target and its ultimate begins, repeated twice
Next cycleRepeats with a different feed target

Recommended ultimate order: Gebbo → Nama → Iku. No tortollan can receive it twice in a row, so the cycle has to alternate anyway; this is the order used in PTR testing and the one to build assignments around.

To verify: official documentation states each tortollan can only be fed once and that the raid must kill them before running out of fish, which would imply a hard enrage at 3 total feeds. Testing suggests a repeatable cycle instead. Until confirmed in the field, treat it as an enrage.

Detail

Mor'zahi and the fish

Mor'zahi is the troll at the center of the room. He is not tankable and should not be attacked: he is the fight timer. He controls the three tortollans with Dark Whispers and channels Final Ascension.

Reset sequence:

  1. Gebbo walks around throwing crates (Throw Junk).
  2. Players open them by walking over them.
  3. One contains a Disgusting Fish.
  4. The fish is delivered with an extra action button to one of the three tortollans.
  5. Mor'zahi's concentration breaks: cast and energy reset.
  6. Mor'zahi's Command reasserts control over that target, spending all his energy and granting it additional abilities — the so-called ultimate.

When the fish is consumed, Fishy Feedback deals immediate damage plus a 12-second DoT to the whole raid.

Positioning — United Defense

If all three tortollans are within 30 yards of each other, they reduce damage taken by 99%. The condition requires all three: two together is fine.

Nama and Iku are tankable. Gebbo isn't, but his path is predictable: he always circles counter-clockwise around the room, at a constant pace.

The whole strategy follows from this. Knowing where Gebbo will be ten seconds from now tells you where to tank Nama and Iku so all three never end up within 30 yards, where the next crates will land, and which way to orient Mighty Thud. Positioning therefore stays almost fixed for the entire pull instead of being recalculated every time.

In PTR testing the mistake looked like this: Nama tanked correctly, but the group drifted too close to Iku and for several seconds all three were at 99% reduction.

Trader Gebbo

  • Throw Junk — throws crates from his inventory. They first appear as pools to avoid on impact, then become openable crates.
    • They must be opened for three reasons: they contain the fish; if Gebbo walks over one he detonates it; and if left intact they explode after about 25 seconds with Relic Rupture.
    • Opening costs Splinters, a stacking bleed. On Mythic the bleed hits the entire raid, so openings must be distributed.
    • Crates on Gebbo's path should be assigned to players with mobility.

Ultimate:

  • Mushroom Toss — throws a Bouncy Mushroom at a player, melee or ranged. It is baitable: whoever takes it moves to where the mushroom is needed. Jumping on it irritates the mushroom, which shortly after erupts into Fungal Burst within 5 yards.
  • Explosive Surprise — in parallel a debuffed player spawns a timed bomb on expiry, to be placed opposite the mushroom. On detonation it creates the Blast Wave, only crossable with the mushroom jump, Blink, or the Warlock's personal portal.

When an ally dies he wields a shovel: Smashing Shovel, extra damage and knockback.

First Mate Nama

  • Shell Spin — three spinning shells in a frontal cone. Negligible damage but a 4-second stun.
  • Steady Strikes — +4% physical damage per strike on the same target, cumulative for 30 seconds. Tank swap.
  • Relentless Escalation — on an ally's death, +100% damage every second for 30 seconds.

Ultimate — Mighty Thud:

Marks three players and leaps to each position in sequence, from the melee group to the furthest. Each impact is split among players within 6 yards and knocks them back. If an impact hits nobody, the full damage goes to the entire raid.

Each impact leaves Aftershock, unstable ground dealing continuous damage within 6 yards, which does not expire on Mythic.

Handling: orient the leaps in the direction Gebbo is moving, with the melee group in front of him and everyone else behind the melee. The knockback near the perimeter risks throwing the raid off the platform, so resolve the mechanic in a safe area.

Scrollsage Iku

  • Shredding Shards — volley on the current tank; each shard increases damage taken from the effect by 50% for over a minute. Mandatory tank swap.
  • Icebound Flames — huge damage plus a DoT and −50% movement. Interruptible; if the cast lands, the residual effect is dispellable.
  • Blink Nova — teleports to a player's location dealing raid-wide damage that falls off with distance. The target moves away from the raid, and never toward Nama or Gebbo.
  • Cataclysmic Invocation — on an ally's death, a raid explosion that grows with each subsequent cast.

Ultimate — Frostfire Volley:

A volley of elemental missiles at multiple targets. Each missile deals fire or frost damage within 10 yards, applies Burning Flames or Piercing Frost, and leaves a Fire Patch or Frost Patch.

Opposing elements cancel: two players with different debuffs who touch remove both, and the same effects dissipate patches of the opposite type.

Elemental Explosion: if a missile strikes an already-afflicted player, the interaction erupts with huge raid-wide damage. Debuffed players must clear quickly and stay out of the next volley.

Layout adopted: melee lined up on the edge, ranged immediately in front of them. Pairing then requires a single step from both groups.

Kill order

Every tortollan that dies empowers the survivors:

Who diesEffect on survivors
Iku's allyCataclysmic Invocation, growing with each cast
Nama's allyRelentless Escalation, +100% damage every second for 30 seconds
Gebbo's allySmashing Shovel, extra damage and knockback

Bring them to similar percentages and close within a tight window. The kill order should be agreed and kept consistent between pulls.

Background damage

  • Malevolent Presence — Shadow damage to the whole raid every 2 seconds, for the entire fight.
  • Evil Eyes — the statues project spirit flames dealing damage within 3 yards.

Assignment checklist

  • Feed target rotation and who calls the feed.
  • Who picks up the fish and presses the extra action button.
  • Crate coverage, with mobile players assigned to Gebbo's path.
  • Soak teams for the three Mighty Thud impacts.
  • Interrupt rotation on Icebound Flames.
  • Melee/ranged layout for Frostfire pairing.
  • Who baits the mushroom and where the bomb goes.
  • Safe zone for Mighty Thud.
  • Kill order for the three tortollans.
